Pictured above, you will see the low pressure (L) off of the north eastern states and this is because they are getting a lot of winds and snow storms. You can also see a lot of isobars in that area indicating high winds.
As I mentioned yesterday, today we have a current temperature of 30 degrees and 14 mph winds from the NNW, which is a higher speed than yesterday. The dewpoint is 12 degrees, making the dewpoint depression 18 degrees. It's mostly sunny with some clouds.
