Hello there! It has been awhile since I have given a weather update because I was in Utah for Spring Break. The weather was amazing there! I was in Salt Lake City for half the time and Moab for the other half. The first day there I went skiing at Solitude and the conditions were almost perfect. There was some snow fall and some peaks of sun here and there with a temperature of about 25 degrees at the top of the mountain.
While in Moab, the first day was about 55 degrees with sunshine and blue skies. The next day was 60 degrees and dreary in the morning, but the sun came out mid-day. It was perfect weather for hiking because there was little to no wind and great temps for cooling off after working up a sweat. Below are a couple of pictures from the trip.
As for today, I am back in Eau Claire and the weather is making me excited for spring! There was a high of 47 and a low of 28 degrees. It was mostly sunny with winds from the ESE at 8 mph. The forecast this week will continue to have temps in the upper 40's and lower 50's. There is a 60% chance of rain tomorrow.
From the jet stream above, you can see the warm air coming through which is why we are experiencing the warmer temps this week.
